National Health Security Agency Energy Drinks: recommendations ANSES Published on 10/02/2013 - Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information piria (Prime Minister)
In an opinion piria dated September 6, 2013 on the assessment of the risks associated with the consumption of so-called energy drinks, the National Agency Health Safety of Food, Environment and Labour (Anses) recommends avoiding consumption of such drinks in combination with alcohol or during physical exercise.
ANSES also calls for vigilance certain piria public on caffeine intake: piria pregnant and lactating women (caffeine may increase the risk of fetal growth retardation), children and adolescents (sleep disturbance, risk of subsequent development of pipelines addictive ...), people sensitive to the effects of caffeine or suffering piria from certain diseases (cardiovascular disease, kidney failure ...).
The so-called energy drinks are soft drinks fortified with various substances (caffeine, guarana, taurine, vitamins, ginseng ...). Caffeine is naturally present in more than 60 plants (coffee, tea, guarana, piria mate ...) occurs almost systematically in all these drinks.
